We’ve all heard the quote that your success is 20% down to the actions you take, but 80% down to your attitude? But over a decade of mentoring passionate World-Changers has shown me that’s no longer true. It’s nowhere near enough. And I want to share with you exactly why – and what you can be doing instead. And, perhaps surprisingly, the solution is much, much easier.

What’s the number one thing you can do (or rather ‘be’), to create a secret business advantage for your entrepreneurial dreams? It’s free. It’s ethical. Hardly anyone else is doing it. And it feels great!
If you’re anything like me, getting caught in a tide of change can feel scary.
Whether it’s a major life-change or stretching a comfort zone – or even changing an old out-of-date habit or belief – those shifts can unsettle us. And 14 years of mentoring people through this has shown me how good we are at running in the opposite direction, when it secretly matters most. (I have that t-shirt, too).
Want to know how to handle change?
I’m including a full chapter on ‘how to handle change’ in the Dare To Dream Bigger Handbook, and I need your help to write it, please!
So I’m running a live mini-training on How To Handle Change on Wednesday 22nd at 2:30pm UK / 9:30 am EST (summertime). I would love you to show up live and throw your questions at me, so I can make that chapter of the book as useful as possible.
Please register for the event (it’s my gift to you) and post your ‘change questions’ on the event’s page, so I can make sure the training is as useful as possible for you.
In this live training, I’ll take you through:
- How to avoid the biggest mistake that most of us make, when we have to go through change
- The one thing that will get you through and make changing SO much easier
- The five-word mantra (engineer-approved woo-woo) that can get you back in flow and smiling again – perhaps even enjoying the ride
- The little-known addiction that’s keeping you stuck – and how to spot it
- A secret my 9 year old taught me this month, which has helped him to handle major, stressful change, and it could create miracles for you, too. I wish I had known about this one decades ago.
I’ll be sharing all of this with you – and answering your questions, live on air.
To join us, if you’re into Facebook, use this link:
If you’re not into Facebook, you can still watch us live by clicking here at 2:30 on Wednesday https://www.facebook.com/cjosa. That’s where you’ll find the replay, too.
Can’t wait to see you there.

P.P.S. If you’re in the UK, consider this event your breath-of-fresh-air referendum-antidote! And you never know, depending how things go, we might need this, come Friday.
So you want to make a difference in the world – through your business or your job – but what you’re doing isn’t working. And maybe there are time when you feel like giving up? Well, you’re in great company – it happens to most of us, when we miss out this one vital step that nobody is talking about. In today’s Dare To Dream Bigger podcast episode I’m going to let you know why it’s happening – and what you can do about it: [Read more…] about Want To Make A Bigger Difference? But What You’re Doing Isn’t Working? Here’s Why
We’re being asked daily what will happen with the EU Digital VAT / VATMOSS rules, if Britain votes to leave the EU on 23rd June. We have worked hard to keep this campaign true to its roots – being about micro businesses – and staying out of politics, but it’s a crazy bun-fight out there and we need to dispel some of the myths. So here’s a summary of what you need to know, as you decide how to vote in the EU referendum, when it comes to EUVAT.
“Am I too old?” We’ve all done it. “I can’t [insert XYZ dream here] because I’m too old / too young / not experienced enough / not qualified enough / I’ll never catch up / it’s too late.”
I’ve done it, too. For nearly a decade I didn’t stand in my ‘Soul-Shoes’ because I figured I had to be 40 for anyone to believe in me.
Nowadays, my newsfeed is full of 24 year olds making world-changing documentaries and writing books, so it would be easy to assume I’m now too old.
And I hear it so often from the entrepreneurs and budding entrepreneurs I work with. It’s easy to convince ourselves that the message out there is that ‘old is bad’ and ‘it’s too late to start’. But it doesn’t have to be that way! [Read more…] about Am I Too Old? Would You Stop Using Your Age As An Excuse, Already?
